Wil be a nice advertising line: worldwide thousants of phones unusable and ready to direct-recycle because of a software change by Skype/Microsoft.

After years of reading messages about Microsoft, (and beeing a MS system admin voor decades) i start to think they are really loosing it. They almost ASK please go to Apple / IOS and/or Android. Hi, I will repeat, You need a fixed location in the country for that number, eg UK number, live in UK, live in france french number and so on. I need a UK number in france and NOT a premium rate one.
It seems that people really are not up to understanding the ramifications. Older people have problems using computers, there is also the number problem, and add to that the extra cost. Please just forget it, MS have shafted users yet again, there is no alternative that works as cheaply. Those of you that have an alternative, good for you, I have not.
