Split from I am having the same issue. When I log into my Skype account and it loads up, I get a notice that 'Skype Home' is not available. I have a VoIP adapter (FreeTalk) so I can use my existing phones in the house. The Skype number is our landline. I have reset the router and the FreeTalk. I can make calls out but no calls are coming in.

My Skype page is displaying all the calls we have missed. I am running Skype on my Android phone and can receive in coming calls. Is there an issue on Skype's end? If so, how can we tell them now. After buying Skype MS is blocked ALL users of RTX dualphones excuse my language i am VERY angry; they stop supporting / connecting to this devices. VERY nice, i have several of this RTX devices on several locations in the world, the most important one with family a 75 year old lady that who can NOT use any other device like a pc, tablet, or (of course) windows phone. REALLY HORRIBLE!

Here's a list of platform that will continue to support Skype. So if you have a o-so-easy RTX phone you are blocked! Edit: If you look for support for this issue you are redirected to none existing page's, or to. This community. Does any Microsoft representative want to react on this issue? Wil be a nice advertising line: worldwide thousants of phones unusable and ready to direct-recycle because of a software change by Skype/Microsoft.

Maybe the MS CEO's can get very fast 'friends' with their freshly new US president. He doesnt care about the environment either. Man, first killing the OneDrive storage space, stopping serious development for my expensive Windows Phone, and now this. After years of reading messages about Microsoft, (and beeing a MS system admin voor decades) i start to think they are really loosing it. They almost ASK please go to Apple / IOS and/or Android. On Techcrunch.com, I just came across these notices from Skype.

Does this mean that the phones will stop working altogether on 1st July? Allen Smith, where are you? Hi Calls to my skype number on my skype phones (RTX 4088) are suddenly not coming through. I can still call out from the phones using skype out, but not receive any calls. I am logged in to our account and if I log into our account from other devices, I receive the calls.

I am thinking that it has something to do with my router, but I am not sure. I have tried to ensure that the ports needed for skype desktop is open, but cannot find specific ports for skype phones that need to be opened. All help is welcome.

Hi, I will repeat, You need a fixed location in the country for that number, eg UK number, live in UK, live in france french number and so on. I need a UK number in france and NOT a premium rate one.

It seems that people really are not up to understanding the ramifications. Older people have problems using computers, there is also the number problem, and add to that the extra cost. Please just forget it, MS have shafted users yet again, there is no alternative that works as cheaply. Those of you that have an alternative, good for you, I have not. MS / skype have played the dirty yet again with customers.

I like many others are slowly migrating away from anything that has Muscular Sclerosis sorry MS as it label I will not buy a phone with windows, nor a netbook etc. Me too, and many, many others all moving away from everything MS.
